Pre-shot routine – walking around the table

There are a lot of things to consider in your pre-shot routine. I think the most important one I’ve learned is to walk around the table once before each and every shot. Look at the shot from all directions. I chalk my cue when doing this. By walking around the table you give your brain all the information it can on the shot. This helps you with shot selection and where to leave the cue ball. You will recall shots that happen repeatedly, so walking around the table gives you all the information available for that recall.
